They did not start renumbering the 1985's from 1984. Just continued the numbers and then there was no significance in the sequencing beyond having number 1 or number 50 from 1984...

Thanks for the replies guys. How about the cb was it an option? Just trying to figure this car out. Has 3 holes. One on pass fender that I can see was a poor job of covering it up. One on the passenger side which was a cb antenna. One on the driver side rear that has just a hole there. Thanks again ...

Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan mid August seems to have the most McLaren's and foureye fomoco vehicles gathered together at any one particular time. Welcome to the group! Post pictures when you get a chance.

I really have no idea on the 1990 models, but the 1985 merely requires removing the buckets behind the drivers seat and passenger seat to get access to the retraction mechanisms for the seat belts. Good luck!

Please take your issues to another "subject"! Many of us live to hear anything related to Sandy being posted on this site. It is very disappointing to see complaints unrelated to McLaren's let alone comments on a positive note related to
Sandy...

While the last 6 digits of the vin might be correct for an 85' vert, should not the first 3 begin with '1ME'? Seems like Sandy posted a notice with regard to the vin for coupes versus verts, but I was unable to find his post. I probably am confused... :?:

I think the dash pad should be blue as well. At least it does show signs of the original white body color these cars would have been painted. Would have to see up close to confirm mileage without a significant number of additional pictures... interiors on these cars fall apart sitting in a garage ...
