for these cars awsome.Picture's of my kids are coming I have a few of
them that I know you will like, Bone stock all of them. Yours cars, man
you have the cream of the crop, how could you keep those cars show
room new like that ? impressive
I speak with many McLaren people via phone, and it's very hard to remember who's who. Sometimes I don't even get a name.

My cars are new, simply because I do not use them, but I protect them in storage & maintain them. I really do not "miss them" as I am a pretty busy boy, and I have a nice daily driver. IF I drove them as transportation, they'd be regular used cars.
You'd be surprised, but there are quite a number of nearly new McLarens spread out across this country.

And you can find his silver one in a published Mustang book. By the time I find the book Sandy can easily reference which one it is.

Have you ever heard of the Predator's, Piranha's, or SAAC MKI or II? I think a huge part of our lack of attention is do to the fact of no performance. Here we have ASC a great body modifier and McLaren a very well known racer. Of the two we get the looks from ASC and no performance from McLaren. Two other joint ventures from ASC McLaren did offer stunning looks and performance they were the Buick GNX and the Pontiac Grand Prix. We more closely resemble the ASC converted Firebirds and Camaros they were also Mercedes style manual convertibles with hard tonneau cover.

Hmm that book doesnt look to familiar. I am pretty sure I bought the one with yours in it when you told us about it on the Yahoo site but couldnt find it on my book shelf at the moment. In the meantime I found it online. Check out this picture Sandy, I definately remember seeing your car in this book, your silver car. Does it look familiar?

I've seen that book at Barnes & Noble, but don't recall if "Hi-Ho Scarlet"* is in it. I kinda think not, but really not sure.
There is a new paperback thick small size book out with Hi Ho Scarlet* in it, but it's the same picture (made smaller) of the one in the book I posted the link to. EDIT....I think THAT IS the PAPERBACK (??) book that it IS in !

* Hi Ho Scarlet is her name. Hi Ho from Hi Ho SILVER and Scarlet for the interior.

The Blue 'Vert is is named Blue-Mac and the grey coupe is Gray Mac.

Wife's Jeep Cherokee LTD is named "Jeepers" and my Town Car is, of course, "Towniee" ~ The Caddy is "Aubie" for her color of Aubergine.

Wait, men in white coats are ringing door bell.......

Please don't kick me off

Post by Larry d »

Just cuz I don't own a McLaren and don't post very much.
By the by Sandy I was just looking at the untitled 86 and the seats are the same as in my Crimson Cat. I kind of thot they were out of an SVO.
That is most likly where the steering wheel came from also.
Question how do I look at the parts listed in the clasified?
I do enjoy this site would like to own a McLaren more than likly never will, That is unless my boat comes in.
Thanks everyone for the prayers as my wife is coming along very well, I see improvement every day. On the down side the insurance company has ruled the accident is all my fault. Hard to believe after all the miles I put on as a Cityand State patrolman, and miles showing dogs and no other accidents and only one speeding ticket 30 yrs ago.
Anywho thanks everyone and all. Larry

Hi Larry sorry to heart about the ruling but glad your wife is getting better. I do hope all your dreams come true and especially the ASC McLaren ones hehe. Your Crimson is absolutely beautiful! There is no reason to feel ashamed about not owning a car to be a member of any site especially this one. Remember this is for enthusiasts. Take care and God Bless.

Nick :)

PS How are you viewing the site? Are you getting email messages or going to the main webpage? IMO in order to get to the classifieds goto the link below and select the classifieds from there. Hope this helps.
