Did you see this car is listed as a 6 Cylinder ? Reserve would be understandable if it needed nothing. Does the VIN check out?

yeah. I remember maybe like eight or so did have the 6cyl. This would be the second one that i have seen up for sale.

a few years ago a black one was up for sale on e-bay.

Looks like it's in pretty good shape.

Nobody picked up on the most unusual part of this car! It's a 6-Cyl. BUT with Recaros ! If (old) memory serves me, today, I seem to recall verbally being told tha 3 were so made. BTW, many more than 8 six cyl. equipped 1986 'Verts were made. They were all automatic, and 90% or better had the standard vinyl seats, from a GS. Some even had the standard CLOTH seats from the GS. Very Very Very few had the $1,765.00 Recaros.

Yes, code check out correctly as a 6-Cyl.
I say she's worth in present condition $3,000. With the Recaros so well worn, it's a good bet that the power controls are also shot. The Stereo in not the original, the wood does not match, dented right side quarter panel, windshield mould, paintwork, remove & recover the seats, fix the power (probably needs motors..... who knows what else, besides tires & exhaust system.....

I see she has taillanp covers. Might she originally have had side ground effects skirts & headlight covers, too ?

If she was like she was when she was at age 2 months, she'd be worth $10,000.

Yes i bet very few loaded 6shooters had that equip Sandy you said only 3 and do you know what #186 was built as org equip wise? It does need some tlc but could make a nice one wonder if the miles are actual looks like a hard 50k unit.

No, the ascMcLaren listing I have does not give options nor trannies nor engines. It gives the VIN, the order of build, the roof, body & interior colors, and the date asc recieved the car, the date it was converted, and the date it was shipped out as in Bye Bye. 1 or 2 or 3 individual cars along the way on this list had penciled in a note or two such as "test car" - "prize" car (as in give-a-way) (one was on the Price is Right) and that's about it. It also tells which ONLY FOR 1988 and 1990 the options installed on each car, such as tranny - Recaros - and others...... But, like I said, only for 1988 and 1990 !!
