Yes, I was born on the 3rd candle (night ) of Chanukkah and my late Dad's B'day was, in fact, Christmas! Mom was born end of January. She missed a holy day birthday.

No, 109 has not been out.

They used an electric sander, and sanded off 80% of the damn plastic market bag. They say the rest will just have to burn off. It stinks, but not like before. The heater blows hot, but who needs it? Today, in N.J. it is 61 degrees and broke all records. I heard 64 tomorrow !!

It's a nice dealership & I am friendly with the owner. They treat people fairly, and have really great service & parts & body shop and MY particular salesman is a very fine person, and treat me well.

That is why I am on my 3rd Lincoln. (1986 - 1998 & 2003).

Happy Birthday Sandy, hope you have many many more. If I could I would send a hauler for your favorite low mile ride and a plane ticket for you plus 1 so you could enjoy hours on end of scenic uncongested and mostly well maintained rural driving in the hills and trees of my part of Kansas. It would be your best birthday ever. I'd do my best to get you all back safely. Sorry but the budget won't allow it. You will just have to dream of a far off safe place to drive and have another RC.

Oh Sandy I am sorry I didnt get the chance to say this sooner I didnt know. This is something that should have been posted as a message to all members. I for one feel indebted to you for all the work you've done to preserve something special to all of us here.

My wife, Karen, has been to Kansas, but before she & I met. She speaks highly of your state.

Sixty is a very UNhappy / Happy age. It's the first REAL - realization that you are now percieved by others as "old", no matter how youthful you might look. The decade between 50 & 60 just flys by, unlike any prior decade.

I am going into the hospital, as an "out patient" for some routine tests, possible ulser, etc... ON the day AFTER Christmas, the 26th at 7 AM. I expect to be home by 2PM on that day. It will be my 1st ever time spent IN a hospital, when the subject was ME. So... 'ya, I guess I am feeling my age. Sadly, I put on weight between 50 & 60 ~ and all I can tell you guys is ...... >>>> DON'T<<<< do it ! Fifty is when you gain 2 pounds per cookie. The body can't burn the calories as before. Now, to look at me, I am not "Fat" ~ but I am fatter than ever before, so I went from normal weight-to-height to slightly over-weight for height, and I cannot stay on a diet. So, they think the somethings gotta give, and it maybe gave way to stomach ulcers or whatnot.
'Ya, so I'm worried. So, this all made me feel good. I thank you all, and stay slim, 'cause it's hell on wheels to lose the extra pounds, after age 49.
Give up the beer, cookies, cakes, chips .... and the R/C cola !

sandy your not the first i have seen this befor... now that they have scraped all of the rust prevenitive paint of your pipes see if they can shoot them with some high temp pant so you wont have to replace your pipes in a year or 2

It wasn't on the pipes. It was all on the muffler, which is aluminum !
