Do you think the windshield molding could be fastened on securely enough with out having to use gobs of glue? If so how? I figure this might be of benefit to us for a few reasons. First off the flexing which causes those cracks in the corners may be eliminated, next if we ever have to change the windshield we wont have to sacrifice the molding. Thanks.

Last night I was driving on a highway where they're doing some substantial construction. They rerouted the southbound lanes into a northbound lane, and there was a REALLY severe bank as you switched over. When I did, I could actually hear the cowl flex cause the windshield to frame to stress. Like nails on a chalk board! And that's WITH a strut tower brace, which I hoped would help alleviate some of the problem.
I think any method you used to do it would have to provide a substantial amount of give or play. I would assume the dumdum adhesive actually does allow for a little wiggle room while still securing the molding. Not sure what would do a better job.

I never saw the underside so any advice from others is greatly appreciated. I wonder if clip on brackets would work somehow. If not if there is a way a silicone that can easily be pulled off and allow flexing w/o coming off while driving lol.
Bryan sounds scarey what you went through with flexing on the road. Do you have any other bracing such as sub frame connectors? At the moment thats all I have. I do plan on doing more once I do the suspension. However this really makes me consider the limitations we have with these cars.
