Paint the hood vents red again, deep 6 that rear spoiler, fill the holes, repaint the deck lid, install the OEM Stereo and replace the wheels with the gold correct ones, and ya got a very nice example, at a reasonable price.

Sandy,

Don't forget you have to convert back to 4-lug if you want to use the original rims.

Sandy, if those things offended your senses, it gets worse. Did you notice its listed as an '85, but it has fuel injection, with a mass air conversion.

Now in your estimation, what is it worth? Chuck

I'd have to guess it's a replaced V-8
Value? Not going there, made enough enemies over time...

Well the engine swap is a toughie. The 85 automatics were CFI motors...and to most people they are a big detriment value wise as the CFI MUST be replaced.

If the car was in better shape (like 100% mint and untoyed with), the engine swap would hurt it. But being in need of work and a possible bargain for somebody who would be inclined to replace the CFI anyways...probably a bonus for them.

Who did the engine conversion and what did it include? Do you have any additional pics of the interior and underneath the vehicle? Thanks, Chuck

THIS IS THE QUESTION I SENT THE OWNER A COUPLE DAYS AGO. BELOW IS THE REPLY I RECEIVED.
The car is factory original. Ford Motor converted the McClaren's. I do not have any more pics at this time. For more detailed info please call Larry after 3pm EST at 317-244-5807.
Thanks!
