1986 ascMclaren 'vert

Wondered if one of you gurus could give me an idea as to what one of these cars is worth...

This is a nice DRIVER 86 ascMclaren, it's a 20 footer, and the leather seating surface on the drivers seat needs repair. It has headlight covers, but no tail light covers. It has 94K, no body damage, white paint is original, couple of stress cracks, no rust, all there as best as I can tell from this website.

White exterior/blue Recaro interior/blue top. Passes smog easily, 94K miles, original rims, really needs very, very little. Drove it about 300 miles a month or so ago, and got over 20mpg. Oh yes, it's an AOD behind the 5.0.

I'm just looking for ballpark figures and if any of you are interested in this car, drop me a line. Unfortunate circumstances are making it so that I can't keep it, so would like to get it into the hands of someone who appreciates how rare these really are (1 of 245).

Really guys, just looking for a ballpark figure on the value of the car. I know it's difficult w/o pics, but my description is candid. Is it a $3k car or 10K car? Just not enough "comp's" to come up with a number by myself. Thanks, Paul

Without pictures it s total guess, anywhere from $3000-6000, just a guess.

I actully did this to some nasty woman who complained to my boss that I never offered to come to her house and look at her car, that she wanted to trade in ! She was driving her company-car and "home" was 63 miles away from the dealership, and she was on low ball numbers from a dealer out on Long Island (I'm in Northern NJ) and at the #s she was at, we had a $44 profit deal.
Dopy did it, and I told her that she needs to use better grade gas in it, as the motor had the hiccups! She said she did not hear the hiccups, but I told that I did, and she needs to use Sunoco 240 at all times

I appreciate any and all of you who went out on a limb to help.

I will take some larger pictures of the car and post it for sale for $4995 cash, or possible trades for 67-72 Cougars; 71-73 Comet GT's; possibly some other Mercury muscle.
