2 - GP IVs

It seems like all of the sudden people are finding articles about cars of the past, as in Shaine's post.....

Again, in case anyone is interested, I found two GP IVs that were listed for sale in Hemmings in August of '92. I'm only bringing this up as I thought someone might be looking for history of their car. The ads have a decent amount of information and one has a picture. One was in Alpena, MI and the other was in Ipswich, MA. Are these cars accounted for I wonder?

I was doing some spring cleaning and found a box of old hemmings, thought I'd leaf thru a few and found these ads by accident......

i have been researching these & trying to track them all down for 19 years now.

the alpena car is more than likely car # 615279.

I have them both on my Registry, I am pretty sure. But right now I am not sure where the"H" I put the Registry. But, I have it...it's around.

My wife sclepped me shopping today to get all kinds of stuff for Passover. $166.00 at the stupidmarket, and I am pooped out. Really tired out. I am not looking now.

If those ads had #'s mayby they could be tracked and if sold find out where and how funny would it be if seller said yea i still have it just come get it tired of looking at

Ok, sorry for the delay, I've been a little busy........

AD #1:
1985 ASC MCLAREN/Mercury Capri, very rare, hard to find, all original, blue with grey Recaro interior, 5 speed, air conditioning, power windows. Only $5,500, 60,000 original miles. Needs front spoiler. Phone: (508) 356-1460. Corvette Center, 91 Turnpike Road, Ipswich, MA 01938

AD #2: This one has a black and white picture, GP IV graphics not installed on it, but it looks to be in very good condition.

1985 ASC McLaren, very rare, Grand Prix IV model, one of 30, all documentation, 302 HO 5 speed, loaded, 44,000 miles, always garaged and stored winters, clean and excellent throughtout, for more information call evenings at (517)356-4752, Alpena, MI.
(I think this one is white, based on the pic.)

Hope this helps whoever might be looking for their cars history, or looking for one. Maybe they'll divulge who they sold them too.

615279 is the Bill Keys car. you should have that one already. i have had it documented since about 1990. semaj shelton is the current owner.
it is 1 of 3 sunroof cars located...so far.
