thanks Nick. i have a few things to do to get her back in shape in my mind. Obviously need the rims, but also need a new grey tonnaeu cover, bow seal, interior door cup, install the original radio, fix the cruise control, the horn and a partridge in a pear tree.

Hey Mike, have you taken the horn pad apart yet? If so you can probably ingnore this post. There are a couple other posts on this site discussing how the foam padding has broken down in the horn pad allowing the metal plates to remain in constant contact. Perhaps all you need to do is separate the plates with some foam padding. Of course, if this is true, then you have some other small problems, like maybe a blown fuse or being in need of new air horns due the existing ones being burnt out.
Good luck,
Good luck,
Scott, yes i have the pad off the steering wheel but nothing else. i have checked all of the fuses in the dash fuse box. i don't know if there are any in-line fuses or not. but all else is good. is there a way to test with out pulling everything off?
