Headlight Covers

Does that black rubber gasket go around the headlight cover before they are installed? And what about the foam gasket?

Interesting.

The rear covers have the rubber gasket...but I didn't know that the fronts had anything.

the hedlight covers should have 2 screws and 2 pices of velcro thats it

rear covers as mike said rubber gasket on the top edge

the velcro is pretty much just normal black velcro you can get at home depot. Only 2 very small pieces are used on the underside.

Correct. They are placed right in the center of the bottom ledge and are 2" in length, and as said, black. The top has 2 holes for aluminum screws (silver). If you tighten them down nice 'N tight, they will in one year crack & split. NASTY. Do not tighten them down! Leave the cover room to expand & contract with the weather, as they will. You can make them "snug" but.....that's IT, no more. Ditto the rears!
