What I know about wine:-

I Like It. That's what I know about Wine!
I have never liked beer, nor "hard liquer" ~ but I've always
had a soft spot for WINE - Burgundy or White or Gold...
No real "Gotta have it" favorite.....

As a general rule Whites hold up about 5-7 years , Reds can last lots longer. It just depends on the grape. Some pix should help. The reds may be ok, the whites may have gone to the dark side

so i made it home. i was going to take some pics of the wine but its all gone!

the story is that last winter my grandparents house had 3 pipes burst when they were in FL. the whole house was distroyd $200,000 worth of damage. the wine was in there basment and was moved up stairs to "dry" out. now 7 months later they have a construction crew fixing all the drywall and everything that was ruind from the weeks of water. the house is EMPTY other then the 100 plus bottles of old wine and the NEW stove top and other cooking things. plus my grandparents bedroom dressers still had tons of stuff in it like my grandmas cheaper jewlery. not 1 window in the whole house has anything on it you can see right in.

im sure you all know where this is going... somone broke in and stoll everything! it was clearly the construction crew. i dont think even a crackhead would break into an empty house. WHO BREAKES INTO AN EMPTY HOUSE!!! also a wood cabnet with a lock on it was clearly f***ed with judging by the HUGE screwdriver gash marks in the wood but that was before the break in.

what can my famley do? dont they think my almost 90 yearold grandparents have sufferd plenty? i mean by the time they move back in it wll be 1 1/2 years since they had lived in the house... what can we do?

Shame, damn shame. Getting old is a heartache, just living is hard, without "events". I am sorry for you.
