Well, didn't go well on eBay so thought I would give you guys a chance before I put her into storage for who-knows-how-many-years. A nice, driveable project car. 1986 SC5.0 roadster, 95K miles, can be driven home, but needs TLC to restore to original or show condition. Blue Recaro interior, leather hard, seams split. Pictures tell the story. I am retiring and and have no space to restore more than one car, so the McLaren is up for sale.
Located in Newbury Park, CA 91320. While I wouldn't drive her cross country, I'd drive here anywhere within about 500mile radius just because the tires are old. She starts and drives fine. CA registration is expired and car WAS NOT on Non-op so back fees would be due in CA. After some smog valve repair, she did last pass smog but did have a couple of failures because of an inept mechanic who didn't know his you-know-what from a hole in the ground. One smog valve replacement, and she passed just fine.
Don't get me wrong, she is far from perfect, but fully capable of being brought back to life.
$2500 FIRM, can take credit cards if that helps.
