I was wrong. My friend chipped in $35,000 and the bride's folks paid $60,000 for a total of $100,000 including tips, etc, etc..... A once in a lifetime wedding to go to. Today? Today I am sick, again. DAMN!! Tomorrow is infustion # 18. When I finish that (on thursday) I will have completed 808 hours of Chemo.
Like 10 people art the wedding, that I know all told me that I "never looked better" ~ This actually is true. They cannot see the fact thay I am DiZzY 70% of the time, and usually have astomach ache! But, I do look good.

'Ya, I got my Rabbi & my "Father" at the hospital. I am leaving in 45 minutes. Will be back home at 4:30PM East Coast time. Then I go back on Thursday AM for 1 hour to get disconnected from my at home 44 hour infusion pump.
Then, I have about 24 hours feeling good, and then the effects kick in - and I am major-sick for 6 days. Round about Day 7 I come outta it & begin feeling good again. 7 more days, and I go back and it starts all over again.
As long as progress is being made, I deal with it - as best I can. Me, and the other 500 people going thru it, there.....some as young as 27. Some really beautiful young girls in their mid-late 20s. So Sad.
Yes, it was some wedding !! This is what happens when you marry a girl with very rich parents! Their house is worth 2 million, so what's $100,000 thou to marry off their 1 & only offspring ??
In December, I will get my next testing which will bring forth my newest numbers and "picture" of my progress, which will determine my future.
Am I scared? Ha, I'd rather face 20 Hell's Angels on motorcycles immediately after my calling them some very baaad names !

Kosher Boardwalk Grilled hot Dogs, on hot dog buns,
with fried strips of red & green peppers, sauteed strips of onions,
hot chilli sauce on top
with
Spicy pickled cole slaw, and R/C Colas for me & Karen (wife)
Son (Matt) still at work in NYC.
Tomorrow I will continue for 6 1/2 more days. to be ill. Next Tuesday I begin to feel human again. (I hope)
My Friend the Priest - I was told - was "under the weather" , and had not been into the hospital for the past 4 days. My Rabbi was there and he
ducked in to say HI, and give me a quickiee prayer.
I asked about his Saleen Convert. (2006) He said he was too busy all Summer to take it out. Many deaths to officiate at as well as weddings & births, too. Said he ran around in his 6 Cyl. base model, cloth interior - brown - Impala sedan (2000 model)
Then he left me.
Dr said that "I am doing very good, and my doctor will be cutting me down to just ONE ONE ONE ONE infusion a month!

wow must have been one hell of a wedding. i have been to some bar and bat mitzva that were 50K plus. they were NICE! i can only emagine this wedding. ps the kosher food was still crap at the fancy bar mitzvas. we need to get some of them new york cateres over here in detroit.
