Let me tell you about our fridge. Came home from Thanksgiving vacation and it was completely warm. At least $250 in food wasted. I was going to call a repair guy to look at it but a quick internet investigation led me to check a few things. Turns out its a $39 part (starter overload module, totally FRIED on the inside), easily replaceable. I'm having one express shipped to me for $45.

If you're fridge just quit, make sure you rule out the relay/starter and the circuit board first. If it is indeed the compressor then that's harsh since those cost a lot to repair and its almost worth getting a new fridge. The compressors don't really go bad often and the systems are so well sealed they don't leak either.

Is that camera as hard to use as it looks?

Not really. Even I can use it. It has autofocus so you zoom in where you want, depress the shutter button half way, it focuses and then you depress it the rest to get your picture.

It is a great "I don't know if I want to blow $1000 on an SLR if I don't know what I want" camera.

Its almost sure its gotta be the compressor. I can hear all the relay's clicking and cycling trying to make it go cold. then the blower runs inside but its all warm air. Took the cover off and the compressor's quite warm when it runs.

and yes, it was come home monday from the t-day weekend to find a puddle in the middle of the kitchen floor; cause everything melted.

Luckily, most of my frozen stuff was in my seperate freezer; and I hadn't gone grocery shopping in a week. So I only lost about 50$ worth of frozen food, and maybe another 50 in misc stuff in the fridge.

Even still, got a link to the site you were looking on?

The compressors run REALLY hot most of the time..like almost too hot to touch. That is NORMAL. I did NOT know that either!

Look on the back of the compressor and there should be a plastic box on it that just pops off. Shake it, it might rattle.

Try there. Trust me 10 minutes worth of work is MUCH better than $250 BS repair bill!

I did the things suggested and bought the relay pack. Doesn't work.

New fridge time.

And still, GL with the sale.

Oh well. If the compressor was going bad and was starting to pull too much power, forcing the relay to cycle, then yeah, it could be the compressor. Still could be a logic board if you have one.

I'm still waiting for my relay. Hopefully I'm not looking at a new compressor too.

FYI: I put in the new relay/starter and the fridge is cooling.

Hopefully, it did the trick!

Camera is at $101 now. I would have thought it should be going for more. I checked past auctions and the price this set goes for is quite a bit more.

Someone ended with a nice deal on that camera. I wish that I really needed a camera at this time, as I would have placed a higher bid on it.
