I can across an 88 McLaren convertible in a wrecking yard. Many parts were gone. It would be a shame for the rest to be crusher with any of the special parts. I was able to buy some parts. I have:
1 Both top latching bar and their windshield receivers.
2 Two top interlock and the top release electric switches
3 The rear toneau cover complete (hinge assy, springs, etc)
4 I have the top and toneau release motors.
5 The top manual release cable
6 Lower rear top bow ( part that attaches to the top body cover)

There are still some parts on the car. If you have a need let me know and I will see if the part is there. The wrecking yard is not far from my houses.
The S/N is 1FABP40EJF197127. The car is red. Most of interior is gone but it looks like it might have been gray. The trans was an automatic. The dash plate was gone and the sticker on driver's door is unreadable.
