Info on 1987 from an old Hemmings ad

About a year and a half ago I was browsing the online version of Hemmings and somebody, maybe a dealer, had listed a perfect 1987 asc with I think 1800 miles. The car was the color of my old 88, guards red and tan and if I remember correctly it was still on the Mso. The problem for me then was the price, they wanted 24k ...ouch. I think that's all I gave for my car new. And I was looking for a car to title and drive some and I think if you buy one like that it should remain the trailer queen that it is.

Did anybody see the ad for this car or know any info about what happened to it. I think the seller's location was New Jersey or New York.

With a VIN, I might be able to help, I am IN New Jersey, but no Vin - it's impossible.

Thanks Sandy I was just taking a quick shot that somebody that has been around the forum for a while might have seen the ad back then.

I'll continue my search and I know by next spring I'll find another ascMcLaren, hope it's red, to replace the one I should never have traded off.

I'm so thankfull for you and this forum because I was probably going to settle for a clean summer edition, 7up, or similar foxbody. But now I know I've just got to have the real thing again. No cheesy snap on boots for me.
