1. The picture was on some site of cars for sale like 2 years ago.
2. Cannot recall exactly, but car was out of the country, possible Austria.
3. The English used in the text indicates it could have been transposed from some other language into English via a computer service.
4. If I recall, the front of the car in the prior photo was complete & sported a foreign tag. THAT is probably the reason the photo was cut !!

I understand now! Good info. The old send me a deposit gag. I learned about that the semi-hard way! Thought I was going to buy a 68 Shelby GT-500 for 28,500. He even furnished me with a copy of a title from Virginia, dated 1969. It had the correct VIN number and his name on it! Said he was the second owner, was now in Russia. The car was in Virginia, where he had lived. He went back to Russia to see his new born grandchild and wanted to stay to be with his family. Wanted to sell the car quick. I told him I would meet him in Virginia and pick up the car. He insisted on a deposit, so he could buy a plane ticket home! Smelling a rat, I contacted SAAC. I was the 202 person to check on the car, some had sent a deposit! All I lost was time and a shattered dream of owning a 1968 Shelby GT-500 Convertible!

AHH YES CRAIGS LIST A UNIQUE BREED OF FOLKS LERK THERE! MANY SCAMS GO ON THERE. I AM TRULEY SUPRIZED THAT NONE OF THE ASC'S I HAVE SOLD OVER THE YEARS PHOTOS HAVE NOT BEEN USED THAT I KNOW OF FOR SCAMS BUT HAVE SEEN MANY OF MY PHOTOS USED ON OTHER SIGHTS FOR GALLERY PURPOSES NO ROYALTIES RECIEVED AS OF YET !
