Genuine 93 Cobra (CAPRI) Intake (Ported)

Post by n20capri »

This is the real deal from back in the day not that new lower rated horsepower Chinese version!

It's in perfect condition and recently powder coated so it looks great. The upper has been cut and thoroughly ported. Welds are perfect. Gasket matched all around with a 75mm TB opening. This made about 20 more rwhp than a stock non ported Cobra intake (on my H/C/I 306).

Also comes with:
  • 3/4" phenolic spacer
  • Appropriate bolts
  • Upper to lower gaskets
$400 plus shipping. ($350 plus shipping with no intake plate.

Mike changed his intake a long time ago. Check his site.

He's running a Edelbrock Victor EFI intake now.

G/L with the sale Mike, I always loved your Cobra intake.

Yeah I switched over to the Edelbrock. MORE cubes and MORE nitrous. Plus a solid roller so I need quick access for adjusting the valves.

I hate to see the Cobra go as it's an awesome intake and "stockish" yet custom but it's time for a change.

I have that same intake (EFI Victor) waiting to go on my car along with the EFI conversion. Actually, I still need to buy the lower intake.

I scored a TEA ported Victor upper intake on ebay cheap.

How much lowend is sacrificed?

You'll definitely notice a difference. Be prepared to do a gear swap...lol. I went from 355's to 373's to get it back. My dad has 410's with the same combo and it's even nicer.
