Question:

Why does it have low level seats. that being the seats that came in the base model?? The GS ? The GS models, used for McLarens were used to gain entry to the 6-Ctl. for those who wanted that motor. The much more popular 302 V-8s were based upon the RS with its V-8. The RS came with the same articulated seats that the Mustang GT came with. The upgrade FOR BOTH models, were the Recaros. SOoo, were these seats swapped into this car, -OR- was this car originally a 6 Cyl ???

M code in the VIN. It's an original V8.

Sandy, many people simply swap out the Recarros when they get ratty for whatever looks decent in the junkyard.
