The window placement and seam on top are the same as these pics from the guy in texas, and mine is in much worse shape.....

.....so I am only reasonably sure.

It is in such lousy shape, tattered, leaky, only one layer of fabric, windows cracked in thirds horizontoly, that I think it is.

Can't afford carbon dating from a lab.

No, that Black (or navy) car is not wearing its original roof. The shape of the little windows is not correct, as seen by the fact that the small plastic windows at the top, are equal height to the big center window. The curvature of the bottom part is too straight. also. Absolutely NOBODY gets them 100% correct. there are always clues when they are not OEM.Those that make these "copies" are too lazy to make either pencil tracings and/or measurments. They do it by sight. They also put 1987/1988 styles on 1989/1990 which had totally different sew patterns.

Bottom line is the replacements fit, work, look okay.... But they are NOT OEM design. Quality ? I have no idea. They could be better, equal, or sub-quality. Who Knows

Another member offered up his old one to me, just waiting for him to tell me when to get it.

Sadly, a new one is out of the question til next year. (and if one of you spoke to me about a parts purchase, I'm still interested, just a little strapped til the end of summer)
