Hey kids.... only $18,500 for this one! At this price maybe I'll buy one for the wife too!!! Looks to be in decent shape though.

1986 McLaron 5.0 Convertible. 20,158 original miles.
Needs nothing and everything works. Great looking car and run excellent. -140 mph speedometer -Whistler Spectrum II Radar -Recaro heated-speaker headrest -Seats, premium door panels -A/T, P/S, P/W, P/L, tilt, A/C, C/C, AM/FM cassette, with premium sound -ASC/McLaron cast aluminum wheels.

See... I was thinking the same thing. They look sooooo out of place, I can't imagine the car came w/ them.

After a close look, they may be seat covers that someone made for them. They have 'wrinkles' in them that I don't see in mine.

Just sayin'.

All the other ones I've seen with blue interior had blue seats.

Sorry I am late. Had to schlep to Poopermarket with Mrs. McLaren to stock up on foodies for impending 14-inch "flurrries" headed right to us!

The Seats (and/or seat COVERS) are wrong. Should be dark blue.
Also wrong is the roof. It's a replacement roof.
Per usual, the small(ER) little wrap around plastics are way too large.

The Recaro seating colors were Sand Tan and Dark (Navy) Blue.
The pin stripe is also in error.

(That pertains ONLY to the Merc. Version !!! I know the other colors for 87 88 89 and 90.)

It looks nice & has low miles, but I don't think it is four times as nice as my 85.

If I got 1/4 of the price he is asking, for mine I'd feel like I had whacked someone.

As my dad always said, "the value of a thing is determined by what a seller is willing to take & a buyer is willing to give for it".
