1985 Mercury Capri ASC McLaren. This is the real deal......very rare car and exceptionally well taken care of. 50,600 ACTUAL MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of 150 made EVER in 1985, and 1 of 90 came in this color. The body is all original, it looks and is in excellent condition. The quarters, rockers, floors, trunk, fenders and shock towers are totally rust free. All factory glass is original and in perfect condition. Custom ASC McLaren instrument gauges which all work and in great shape. 140mph speedo. The interior is all original which include leather custom ASC McLaren seats that are in perfect condition. Door panels, kick panels, and carpets are all in excellent condition. Alpine CD AM/FM radio. Everything works on this car, power windows, warning lights, console car diagram lights. Everything is very tight and exceptionally maintained on this car, even the factory speakers still work in the dash. Mods include the following: 5.0 liter engine, Fresh 400 hp motor Borg Warner Z rated 2.95 Cobra T-5 5 speed transmission Factory R/12 A/C WHICH WORKS!!!!! Crane Ignition Demon carb X pipe headers underdrive pulley's New Cobra clutch B Cam 235/55/17 (front) and 255/45/17 Hankook tires (fresh) 4.10 rear posi Cobra wheels and suspension parts. 4 wheel disc brakes with SVO master cylinder. Why did it need a new drive train at 50K, or less miles?

Sounds like it would be a handfull and the fuel mileage would really SUCK!

Yep - cobra/t-bird wheels, built engine, and what looks like leather vert front seats w/svo leather rear. I'd be interested at a lower price. There were a couple of pretty nice coupes that sold for quite a bit less last year, that had the original cloth seats, fairly stock engines, and better condition ground effects. Does screaming power justify the higher price in these cars???

Appears to be one that was on eBay some months. Maybe I'm a purist, but I'd prefer the original wheels and seat covers.

Driver Side, Passenger Side, Hatch-Back Door & Hood.
Actually 5 door, if you want to count the fuel door.

Wait! You forgot to count the glove box door.

I guess that means that what we all have are actually six door models:
(driver's, passenger's, trunk, hood, gas door, & glove box.)------lol
That is unless some coupes came with consoles, they would be seven door models!
