The '86 with 63K had a high bid of $8900.00 and the seller DIDN'T take it. He has relisted it with more pictures. The Ebay listing before brought a high bid in the $7,000.00 range.

The top doesn't look like it fits.

The radio antenna is on the front fender.

It's basically a 'bare bones' vehicle.

Sandy, what can you tell us about #612999? It was originally owned by a couple in Clearwater that approached me 2+ years ago and wanted to sell, either this one or one exactly like it, for $10,000.00. It's been listed and relisted in several cities. Lakeland, Bradenton and Clearwater. If it's the same one, and I'm sure it is. The seller, in Lakeland, had a real smart assed attitude. The kind that makes me walk away!

I do not find "her" on my listing.

My neighbor, 8 houses down, knows my cars, knows that I am "crazy" and he & his wife went to the Atlantic City Classic CAr Auction. I saw him today and he told that a McLAREN went thru. asked did he see it & was it a coupe or a convertible. He said it was a convertible and it was announced as a 1988. I asked the color !! He said it was not a typical color for a Conveerible, and that it was Dark Grey Metallic.

Didn't you guys hear me hit the floor ????

Without lOOking, I think they made 12 in the color and I missed it !!

GUNMETAL METALLIC, and he told me that the interior was light gray with a black top (that appears to be correct. He actually took pictures, for me !!!

But...No, I have NOT seen them, yet! Wife ^ had had to go food shopping, We were down to eggs OR Eggo Waffles, We bought a ton of foodies. That God we kept the Cherokee !

I am VERY tired. Physical work & chemo do NOT get along.

Sandy: It was an '87 and a no sale at $7,000.00 The picture and description are on the Atlantic City auction site.

That is the auction to attend if you're a buyer. Not so much as a seller. Prices were pretty low for some really nice cars. A LOT of no sales!

I gotta go check my list, for ascMcLaren. I was positive that Gunmetal Metallic was a 1988 addition.

The prices on these cars are way too low. The Saleens, thast are NOT customized, have near "stock" interior ans stock convertible tops bring alot more money.

There's an '85 Red Vert for sale in Eustis, Fl. Looks like the one the guy turned down the 8K for except it appears to have all the options but the decor package. They are asking $7995.00.

Recieved photos ofthe Gunmetal 1988 Mclaren.
Many incorrect parts:

Wrong Seats, AND lacking headrests
Wrong seat material PATTERN (Vertical pleats on beckrest, etc...)
Chromed wheels that were never on these cars

BUt... it IS Gunmetlal Metallic, the grey interior. Top down. but should be black.
