Top side tension cables - Where do they go??

My top replacement is coming along nicely but the side tension cables aren't up to being re-used. I see that Henry does not have these, but there are Mustang convertible cables readily available - are they the same or can be modified for our cars?

Also can these be installed later, or do they have to be installed first as the instructions indicate?

I got mine from him about 5 years age. They might be simple to fabricate.

Henry had these and shipped to me fast - like everything else I bought from him!

So here's the story:

I removed my top several years ago, this car hadn't been driven in any weather so I wasn't going to either, and never have. However now it may get caught out in the rain so I have to put a top on it. I bought a new top, also awhile ago and I'm slowly installing it. Without belaboring the point further, it's obvious where the cables attach to the front(number 1 bow) but where to attach them in the back isn't obvious at all. I'm pretty sure it screws down on the rear seal retainer, on the back side. But there aren't any existing holes where it might go.

Can someone have a look at theirs?
