Where are the nine now?

Hi everyone. I have a 1986 3.8 ltr v6 McLaren that I've had for the last 20 or so years and am interested where the other eight are and which one of the nine mine is? I have some information that was sent to me by Sandy who originally contacted me to let me know what I had and as far as I am aware I have the only one in the U.K. where are the others?
.are all nine still around?

One is in Ohio....CUN 606759; ASC S/N #0069. Red with tan top and tan standard interior (no recaros).

Hi. Keith. Thanks for reply. Henry has told me there is one in Florida . A black car with tan interior. (No other info )So that is three so far. Where are the others? I am currently giving my car some tlc after storage for the last eight years but still looking good for it's thirty years though :0) . I will be posting pics soon

I have seen a red with tan interior 6 cylinder car in the commerce novi area of Michigan.

I found one in Detroit in a fenced in lot of a body shop off 8 mile (nice area) I stopped and spoke with the manager. the car was scrapped. a lot was missing on it. If you "click" on Albums, then go to 1986 Convertibles and go to page 4 I have uploaded two pictures of it White with a blue interior It was a 6 cylinder car. It was about 17 years ago...I also found a Crushed Deloran in the junkyard next door. It was about a foot high with its gull wing doors popping up. They had just taken it out of the crusher.

Peter....I think that red/tan/tan you saw in commerce / novi is now in OH.

Several years ago I saw a red/tan/tan v6 listed for sale on ascmclaren.com. It may have had recaros, but i don't recall for sure. I went through the archive listings to see if I could find it but didn't see it.

Ian, would you mind posting the particulars of your car - colors, whether it has recaros or not, asc S/N #, perhaps the last 6 of the VIN. This message string could serve as a pseudo registry.

Reviewing the 1986 convertibles listed in the resources section, as of summer 2006 609421 #0076 was in WV....black/tan/black with cloth(?) recaros.

Hi.my car is white with black convertible top. Not sure of seat styles but think they are recaros . ASC SN 185. I have currently got it back on the road after being stored for the last eight years. It is in pretty good condition for its age . Just needs some TLC . I tried uploading photo but no success so far. Will try again. Regards Ian.

Hi Mike, I am a bit confused as Sandy contacted me about 16 years ago and I sent him the. Vin number and he sent me back information and documentation and email that it is 1986 and it's registered year of manufacture is 1986.
