1988 Ford Mustang Convertible ASC McLaren #834. Low mile mint condition 100% original survivor. This car has been in the same family since it was purchased new in 1988. 26,794 original and fully documented miles. I have the Carfax available for interested parties confirming the low original mileage and owner ship history. Garaged since new. This car was only driven in the summer time and has never been driven in the rain. Only driven maybe twice a year the last 10 years. Only non ethanol gas used. Meticulous maintenance. Original bone stock 5 liter H.O motor and five speed manual Borg Warner transmission. Power windows, brakes, mirrors, steering, seats, door locks, A/C, cruise control. The car is 100% original. The original paint is near flawless. The interior is in mint condition.

PAINT/BODY- This is a 100% original paint car. The car has never seen rain and has always been stored inside a climate controlled garage. The undercarriage is spotless and looks factory new as seen in the pictures. The original gold honeycomb cast aluminum rims by Motorsport Wheel Company are in perfect condition with no curb rash. Nice tires. I just had the paint professionally polished. The original paint is in stunning condition. The convertible top is in excellent condition as well.

MOTOR/TRANSMISSION- Completely original and unmodified drive train. The stock 5.0 H.O. motor and five speed Borg Warner transmission are in perfect mechanical condition. The car has had meticulous routine maintenance throughout its entire life. The heater core, fuel tank, fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil/filter were replaced with in the last 500 miles. The car runs, drives, stops, and looks like new.

INTERIOR- The interior is in mint condition. The factory leather seats are exceptional. The carpet is perfect. The car is 100% original down to the factory ford radio.

Very few ASC McLaren Mustangs were built. This is a very low production car making it even more rare than the Saleen or Cobra Mustang. Number 834 of 1,015. This is one of the lowest mile mint ASC Mustangs on the planet. Essentially its a new car still. Beautiful color combination. Very comfortable to drive. The car needs nothing. Runs,drives and looks like new. I am regretfully selling this out of my collection to free up some space for other cars.
