Green paint on Sway Bar

Found a dab of Green paint on the front sway bar, Was wondering if this is standard for 86 Mclarens. And how to match the color. Will but a picture in the album of the dab and of progress.

If memory serves, the green paint dab signified the 5.0 engine sway bar.
