headlight covers

They almost look like repros. The original ones have a slight bump around the edge corner (hard to explain)...but I have both asc originals I bought years ago in the asc packaging and some recent ones from hank.

I have 1 set, new in storage, still in OEM box. Polytech Industries of Stamford Ct. They also made the taillight covers. Got 1 set of them, too.

If I had a 2nd set, I'd sell them, but very reasonable to someone on here, but I find that I only have 1 set of each.

I am pretty sure Hank has them. At least with Hank you know that they are brandy-new!

I agree, buying a set from Hank would be the way to go, but I struggle paying over a 140.00 a corner for them.

I think his headlight covers are all new. Its the one item you just don't see too often used.

I think they are repros too....I'll try and take a picture of the differences tonight....

Maybe way back when! But today parts come with NOS dirt, dust, rips, wear & tear, warping, remanufactured, used and subsitutes for original. You and Mike seem to be the lucky ones to obtain parts in good, show quality or presitne condition. Granted, I have only had 4 transactions with him, but out of the 4, one might be considered NOS. I will not know until I have the windshield moulding painted and attempt to mount the piece. I can only hope it fits better then the reproduction tonneau I received. My last transaction (and I do mean last) ended with me spending over $1800 in total for a significantly less than show quality set of wheels.

i have not had the best transactions with hank too. when i orderd my stripe kit last year the 360 stripe tape came about 6" short when i told him he did send me more. i had also orderd window channel molding for the black outs and they never came. after a few weeks and 2 phone calls to hank they showed up

After I looked at my repros from Hank and see how dark they are, I think these are indeed original covers.

Peter got a very good deal on these.

Very surprising they didn't go more....even with a couple of cracks in them.
