My phone was ringing off the hook tonight with owners. I have sent 3 to this site. One person has a car to sell. I'd like to see someone here get it. It's a 1989 (ascMcLaren Red) woman-owner, with original 24,000 miles on it. Her son should be arriving sOOn !

Additionally, (another caller) I found out the CORRECT number for the Capri 'Vert stereo WITH the wood trim face-plate! It's 7163 ALPINE as I had thought.
Alpine 7163 is THE stereo that went into all 1984 & 1985 'Verts.

Are you sure it wasn't a 7263? Alpine made both....and I don't know when either was available.

The 85 asc vert owners with the alpine still in it were saying they had a 7263. I know ponydude's seemingly 100% original flooded vert had the 7263 as I gave him an extra one in trade for a few parts...in case his original was broken.

I gave her this site, invited her Son to join us, told him that it's Free, and that we are here to help & assist owners and that there are folks here that would be interested in buying her car.
If she (or her Son) is a no show by Sunday, I'll write back directly to her & get some info.

You gotta love the white belt and matching shoes..

The funny part of that is the slacks were white, as were the shoes. The shirt was also white. It was my one & only day of my life that I ever (attempted) to play golf. I was soooo bad (and discusted) I swore that I never again set foot on a golf course. I drove home in my then 1986 Lincoln Mark 7 and garaged it, and took out the 1990 ascMcLaren and went for a ride to cheer up. I stopped at the Dodge dealership where I worked for a few minutes and one of the Techs had just purchased a new camera, and said to stand by the Mac and he'd snap a few. That's the only pic I had with both ME & THE CAR. The pants then got relagated to car-washing pants and the shoes & belt hung in the closet for like 10 years, until I tossed them. I looked good on the course, (Until I picked up the club, that is ...)
