Eurocoupe rear brakes

Does anyone know if the rear brakes are any different on a Eurocoupe then on a regular Capri?

The ones on my 86 Eurocoupe look like stock drum brakes!

I bought some new shoes and the shoe material is about 1 inch shorter then the ones that are on it. That goes for both the primary and secondary shoe.

IN the ascMcLaren 4-page brochure you'll see the words "Modified Brake System" (Coupe brochure -can be seen on this site). It was NEVER done, because the "brains" at asc found out that their cars would have to be carsh tested all over again, as that FoMoCo's testing would then be null & void. There was no time to do brake testing and await for Gov't. "Okays" ~ so it never happened. The Modifacations were to be a brake preportioning valve and (I believe) sintered metallic brake linings. (Not 100% sure on that). When THAT brochure was printed, the EuroCoupe "idea" had not even been born yet.
