People sometimes say that car dealers are less than honest, but look at this and these facts:

1) Interior completely missing! No wood on anything
2) Totally wrong seats
3) Shot Roof, won't even pull it down in the rear
4) Wrong rims
5) painted headlamp frames
6) McClaren spelling again
7) Wrong production number

It's a car! That they got right. My guess? A recovered theft, dash, seats & console stolen, along with rims. Starting at five thousand ? Replace the roof, seats, add all the wood, correct rims and you've got a well worn, tired out McLaren in which you are into it for $ 10,000.

Does anyone know if that beautiful white one in Wyoming ever sold ???

Those are the original seats!!!

Look at them they are the Recaro's. Notice that the door panels are covered in that same nasty fabric!

On one side, yes, upon closer inspection, they are in fact the correct Recaro design, and yes, the upper door panels have the same fabric, so...do you think it's factory original ? All paperwork indicates that the Recaro option came only in leather. I guess it coulda been special ordered - but I highly doubt it. In 1989 they offered Special Request Paint Color ......and there was but 1 taker. I can't know for sure what is going on with that car, but I seriously doubt it came off the truck that way.

I'm guessing a "Picasso" had things recovered in "special" fabric.

Thank God that's where the similarity ends! I have a feeling that all 1984-1986 are missing it, at least partially.
