Touch-up paint
I just pulled a 130k mile stang 302. We have all the receipts of Royal PURPLE oil changes since new. The rod and crank bearings were all down to copper. The back rod bearing went after 20minutes of playing tag on the Freeway with a Porsche ya the Stang WON. But he's paying for it now. New heads, pistons ,cam and lifter. He got a 2nd block to do up. Thinking it would be faster and cheaper. The OEM block is still very clean and no ridges in the cylinders.
I would quit using Royal Purple if that's the case. I also belong to a Mustang Cop Car group and 200k+ original 5.0's are routine. My'89 Cop Car had 115k, used no oil, leaked NO oil even from the rear main, had never been torn down and ran as good as my brother's sub 50k 5.0, all this with using regular oil.plumkrazy wrote:I just pulled a 130k mile stang 302.
