1989 / 1990 Sighting

4:30PM Feb 2 (today) I spotted either a 1989 or a 1990 McLaren on the N.J. Turnpike, Edison/New Brunswick area (I think) heading South. Car was very very clean, could see no visable damage(s). Black car & top and what looked like the grey (Opal Gray) interior. Car had Delaware tags on it. I tried to catch it, but it was no use in my Town Car! What I did see that I wanted to see more of was that in had a power antenna! The base appeared to be chrome and it looked like that of a Lincoln from the same time period. There was no antenna in the UP posistion. (Stereo Off ?) It appeared to be stock, with the exception of the rims that were the 1993 Cobra rims, but in chrome....really bright chrome. Wish I knew who it was......he was going about 75 MPH, in the extreme left lane, really movin' along. I got somewhat closer, and then he just lost me...

See, you should drive the Mc's more often, then you could've caught the guy.

saw an 85 capri drive by the garage while at work yestorday... primer gray 5 speed. the car had a orange stripe over the top of the rear bumper like an ASC leads me to beleave that it might have been one...
