Well, to each his own. I would get them off so they could be stored correctly. Leaving them on is asking for them to get damaged or deteriorate further.

Well, no I probably wouldn't do that, I was just thinking I would mount it in some sort frame or something and hang it on the wall in my garage next to or near the car.
