This car is in awesome shape, to bad it has blue interior and is an auto, and he wants 12k for it. And it has the asc emblem on the left side trunk

Very few cars were manual cars...so there's not much choice in that regard.

But on the plus side, it's an 86 so it's not CFI.

With all due respect to Sandy, of course, there are just too many of the cars with that asc emblem on the exact same spot on the trunk for it to be a coincidence.

Yeah, not a deal breaker, but I do love the manual. The deal breaker is the blue interior, not really a fan.

You make a very good point, but sad to say, I am STILL correct. Prior owners obviously have seen other cars with it and have assumed theirs fell off and sought a replacement. I have the ascMcLaren parts book with line drawings, for 85 & 86 asc 'Verts. Only 5.0SC on the right side, nothing on the left side. Running change? 'Ya, perhaps...I don't know. But printed literature in "HOW TO...." the ascMcLaren manual makes no mention and does not show them.

But it was printed prior to the 3.8 V6 coming out, so I truthfully do not have a clue on that one. (Regarding a 3.8SC emblem) ~ but I've never seen one.....
