I just checked the last pic of prices for separate ground effect pieces. Where can I send my $771. What a deal!

I guess I had forsight. I bought ALL of my spare pieces at those prices. But in a way, it was a waste! Why? Because while I have every exterior specific ascMcLaren Coupe (1986) piece, and a (very) few 2 spares rather than 1 spare, we can no longer get Mercury Capri parts. (DUH, I never thought of THAT)!! So, I have no hatch, the most vurnable part on the car, as ANY low speed rear accident will total that hatch......) nor fenders, nor grille or front fascia. But, at this point in life, my 86 Coupe is in better condition than I am, so I guess one day I'll sell it & eventually it will be a pile of dog doo.

At one point they may have. Often when cars are newer, the collision industry makes tons of cheaper body parts for insurance repairs.

Today though, they don't make them.

I suppose there could be a replacement hatch stuffed in some body shop somewhere or maybe even a Ford one hanging around but it'll take a lot of luck to find one.

Good bubble hatches are around. People in California see them in the Junkyards all the time. problem is shipping, so you need to send them truck freight 3000 miles and it isn't cheap.

Fortunately, I've got a 79 hatch parts car for fenders (?) and quarters (?) and the NOS front air dam I got from David. Now all I need is a coupe to finish my collection. Plus, I've got the spare bubble hatch I got with the 85 RS.

I am slowly getting at least one spare of every body panel and unique capri piece for my car, just in case :D

Body parts I have. It's the Mclaren specific stuff I don't have spares for. If anyone needs fenders, hoods or bubble hatches, I have those.
