Most of the guys here are the same guys at FEP anyway...

Well I mailed a check for the car and he got it yesterday and is mailing me the title today.

He put the original wheels on the car and is boxing up all the original parts to put in the back.

I am having it shipped because I found that to be cheaper than picking it up myself. I didnt want to get one of the shippers that used the 10-car tractor trailer setups because I was afraid of it getting damaged so I found an individual shipper on uship.com that has great feedback and only delivers one car at a time.

He is supposed to pick it up on Mon and have it delivered to me by Tues or Wed.

I'll post a ton of pictures when it gets here and I get it all cleaned up.

Here is a teaser pic.

Now when you get the car, take it easy before you tear into it.

There are many things people assume was done by previous owners when in fact asc had a hand in it first. Mostly it is the radio and speakers. I don't know if that car has the original stuff but most people assume the Kenwood equipment (or alpine) is junk previous owners put in and they get tossed.

I am pretty sure That car has the radar detector still installed up front. I would be interested in some detailed pictures of exactly where/how it mounts up there.

I dont plan on tearing into it right away. I think I just want to drive it a little for a while.

I also want to see what kind of restoration is needed. Whether I have to strip it down to a shell like my '82 GT or if a simple nice paint job and new interior will do.

I see that it is missing some McLaren parts like the light covers and the rear valance for instance.

I think I remember him also saying that the sterio stuff wasnt original.
