Thanks again for the sight unseen offer. But I think that is a bit low for a car in this condition. As Sandy noted, things are a bit slow right now with folks nervous about housing/stock market. I'll wait things out and slide her up and out of the way for the winter.

Na, it's not the stock market. It's the fact that once again inflation and new products flooding the market.
Everyone has to have everything in today's society. Neither me nor my wife have cell phones, any longer. Why? $100.00 a month billing on each = $200 @ month X 12 months = $ 2,400 @ year, for something we lived 51 years without ! But, everyone else HAS to have it. They also have to have that and this, oh and can't do without those..... Since cost of living and inflation on what we MUST buy (Food, housing, clothing, fuel, heating oil, and what they must pay, i.e. state taxes, federal taxes and dues and and have finally once again, surpassed INCOME. So, the lion's share of the population is 1 step ahead of trouble. THAT is THE problem, not to mention all of the domestic production lost to products coming here via boat from Japan & China.
Still - there are the few lucky rich. Not all of them Dentists and Lawyers. My high school friend and likewise C+ student owns a strip club. It's in NYC.
His wife recieved a 5 caret diamond bracelet for Chanukah, his kids got tons of stuff and he bought hizzelf a Maserati Spyder Coupe.
He made it all himself. Father was a saleried butcher !

It's a very tough market - Retail is. My personal Dr is making less $$$ now, he tells me, than he did in 1993. Insurance & Mal practice fees are more than many people make in a year! $41,000 last year - for them & his rent !
