1986 ASC Capri & 1988 ASC Mustang For sale

Here are a couple of Mclarens for sale, not bad. The red one desparately needs a new top and a new paint job, wow its faded bad. Florida sun....

All is not Kosher, here !

The Red one he calls a 1986. We can see that it is a MUSTANG. Further, while late late 1988's did have the mirror mounted on the door, rather than against ther "A" pillar.... No 1988s had the full length upper door moulding, going ll the way up to the "A" pillar, from the tonneau area. THAT change came with Job 1 of 1989. The Black car I can't see good enough to say anthing + or - BUT look close ! The Black Capri has the Power Antenna that I was talking about, yesterday ! The BASE is chrome. The Red Mustang might have one too.....in the front. I cannot say for sure on it !

Yea, thats obvious about the years and cars....

Sorry to criticize but whoever wrote the description for this ad must've just thrown it together and spent no time at all on accuracy. Especially since the ad says, "oh yea, I've got a '88 for sale too". WOW great description.

Sandy, about your other comments, my blue '88 was the 209th ASC made for '88 out of 1015, and it has the door mounted side mirrors.

And, I'm not sure what your referring to about the

, because mine has this moulding also.

Then yours & this e-bay one are the 1st 2 that I have ever seen. I was told by a worker at asc, that the full length belt moulding "came on board for the 1989 model" ~ So, I am just repeating what I was told. I assumed that from an asc employee - it must be correct.
