88 mclaren body for sale

Post by bigmac »

I have a black 88 asc mclaren body that has been sitting in my garage for some time now, we are moving and i have no place for this project anymore. the wife says it must go. the body is in ok condition with one dent in the drivers side rear 1/4 panel and one dent in the door where it looks like the previouse owner rubbed the mirror somewhere. I am willing to let it go for $800 pluse the buyer pays shiping. there is no drive train in the car and the rear end is not the 8.8 thta is the way i got it. would make a good parts car. thanks

Hi Ryan,

I believe I've spoken to you in the past a few times about your car. Didn't you take out the wires, brake lines, and or fuel lines on this car? It has a 7.5 rear on it now and the 8.8 you put in another car correct?

Ok I just did some research I've definately spoken to you a few times about this car and not just from this site. You went back and forth on selling this car for sometime between I believe your brother and wife. Is this for real now and will you finally post pics so people can see it please? Thanks.

that is correct, I had wanted to keep it but have decided that a house is a better idea. this will not be retracted again. I have no room for it and if i don't find a buyer i will take the parts that are worth saving and scrap the rest. sorry for misleading anyone, that was not my intintion. as for the pics i would be happy to email them to anyone that would like them, but for now I still haven't been able to figure out how to post them on the site.

I tried to close a deal with you back then. After I agreed to pay what you wanted you reneged deciding to keep her for your own restoration. I just don't want to see this happen again to me or anyone else. Send pics to the email address I PM'd you listing what else is included and I will discuss a deal amicable for both of us. I really prefer that someone without an ASC yet have first dibs on her. I am sure this is an ideal car for someone who wanted an ASC McLaren to customize to their liking. Painless Wires can easily replace what you gutted and fuel systems from any junkyard Mustang would work. By all means don't part her out! I am reconsidering buying her rather then see her disrespected. Oh also are you willing to place the original parts back on her that you borrowed for your other Mustang? Look forward to speaking to you.

88 mclaren body for sale

We had purchased the car about 6 years ago, we wanted to fix it up. This is why we bought her in the first place. Right now we do not have the space or time to fix her up. We are moving in a few weeks and do not have the room for it. THIS IS A FOR SURE THING, NOT CHANGING OUR MINDS. sorry for the confusion in the past. It will not happen again.

Sounds like a decent buy for the money and could be made into a driver with some effort! Nick sounds like he is ready to part with it this time i think you should jump on it :!:

I certainly am giving this car allot of thought however as I mentioned I would rather see someone who doesnt have one yet or plans on modifying their ASC to something totally custom pick this one up. I already have an 88 ASC Black/ tan 5spd and refuse to use this car as a donor parts car. It has to much to offer then to goto a scrap yard. To be continued....

I agree with Nick, I would like to see this car go to someone who wants an ASC custome. I also do not want to scrap it by all means but I only have a month to get rid of it 5 weeks to sell her to a good home.
