Looks B+ in condition & mileage. Only negitive is the non-original replacement roof. When folks have examples THIS good, why dear God do they not purchase the real thing ?

Generally a replaced odometer. On cars with a digital electronic odo it's frequenty an illuminated digital * after the tenths number.

In the car business when speaking autoperson to autoperson the wordage to convey is "The clocks been kicked". A person who turns back an odo is called a clock kicker.

If recall correct i believe that is a replacement speedo and the red digit denotes this and that is how Ford issued them on stangs of that era and kept track of the service part replacement for a quick reference. And on some digital Sandy you are right on they had a * or something to right or left of numbers. But these are such a little know facts that most do not know and think they are getting a low mile ride! When in fact they are not!

That aside, the car in question certainly looks well kept. I can see no flaws, one of the better ones to appear in recent months.
Yes, I forgot that part that it can also indicate a replaced odometer.
