Do the 85 coupes come with a 85mph or a 140mph speedo??????

well some cars got them some cars didnt. my car has the 85mph speedo.

My '85 had the 85 speedo--for about ten minutes. $60 for the Motorsport 140 in those days.

Pretty sure my '86 came with a 140. Man, my memory's fading!

early 85s did not. My car was built 1/1985 and did not get a 140mph.

Late 85 ascs did.

86s should all have the 140mph model.

Mike's reply above is 100% correct. Converts got the 85MPH speedo. In 1986, they made the 140 H.P. speed AN OPTION....(One can assume that they had too many leftover, and were trying to thin the herd of 140s.)

BTW, I was off line for 60 hours due to computer ailments. I'm back!
