I had a "Black Magic" Capri T-Top back in the early 80's. I bought it off the Company (Ford) lot. It was a beautiful package. I put a set of the Cougar "spoked" TRX wheels on it, detailed with gold paint between the spokes, and the larger P220 T'Bird/Cougar TRX tires.

I really loved the look of that car, especially with the Cougar wheels, but mine was a 4-cylinder automatic - a real gutless wonder. At some points in time, the 4 cyl. was so weak, Ford would not allow you to order the 4 cyl. engine with the T-roof option (because of the extra weight).

One of many cool cars I've had over the years - if I still had it, it would certainly have a 5.0 in it by now.

It looks just like the one that a friend from high school bought new, and which he had at our 20-year class reunion last summer. Love those cars.
