Martin/Eminger report price going up

Please note that a significant price increase is coming September 10, 2010. Due to the very expensive nature of storing these millions of paper invoices and the various government agencies that have decided to "solve" their budget problems by DRASTICALLY increasing the property taxes of where these invoices are stored, prices will be going up. This is known as a "hidden tax" and is a consequence of the "hope and change" this country wanted. Please do not complain to this company if you don't like it. Talk to your representatives and senators and/or VOTE. And I encourage you to vote for people that will spend our money wisely, not like the Republicans and Democrats who have been playing games for decades

Has anyone gotten a report yet for an 86 asc coupe? I heard not all cars were available.

I have a lot of the original papers but i don't have the window sticker. I see no need to buy the Emminger.

The Emminger is the link between the dealer and the factory. It's information you won't get on anything else really.

So what do these show for our cars in regard to the dealer? Was asc considered the first 'dealer' of the cars, or did Ford retain ownership while asc modified them?

I have no idea. I don't think anyone has gotten one yet.

I was totally bummed when they couldn't find it.

These folks thus far have not returned any records to anyone with a mclaren.

The talk of taxes and politics is complete bs unrelated to a customers request for records. bs about it being too hot to search for records and such is unacceptable. If you build a non air conditioned warehouse in the desert to store records, what else do you expect?

I mean honestly, it's 2010 and we are paying out the ass to get a copy of a piece of paper, and most of us are being turned away. Now complaints about taxes and that type of bs and costs are increasing? give me a break.

Typically what does the Emminger report show? I bought my 90 from the original owner. He handed me a file folder full of stuff he had on the car. I have the original purchase contract, invoice, window sticker, warranty work orders, radar owners manual, etc. I have now put them in a 3 ring binder. I'll spend some time looking through what I have to refresh my memory. I think I even have snail mail correspondences between him and Sandy throughout the years.

If no-one requesting them for a McLaren is getting them, that would suggest that our cars followed a different route to the dealers paperwork-wise as well as physically.

Am I correct to presume the fee is refunded if they can't supply the docs?
