That means that they are not using "asc" as asc has nothing to do with it. McLaren has some input, and agreed to allow use of their name.

Don't you recall like a few weeks ago, on here, you guys were speaking of the various limited edition models that may sprout from the new Mustang, and I said, " You ain't seen nothing yet ~ something ELSE is coming back, too" ?? Well, she is it.

Look at the emblem on the side front fender, with a magnifying glass :D

There's a new McLaren-Mustang coming soon. It's again a 2-seat roadster, and again borrowing roof styling from Mercedes. The top will be fiber carbon material & light weighjt and power operating folding, with glass rear window. It will fit into the area formerely occupied by the rear seat, leaving the trunk in place. The cars will not be repainted in unique colors, but will be in the regular Mustang colors of red, white, black, silver or yellow. Around 250 are scheduled to be built for 2005. Price is yet unannounced, but thought to be in the mid to upper forties.

Sounds cool... I'd love to pick one up, although 40k is kind of steep unless there are some other mods beyond making it a 2-seater.

If they haven't started already, I have some doubts about these being 2005 Models. There is only 6 weeks left in the 2005 production schedule and 06 is slated to start early August.
