Mustang virgin

Post by Mustangnewb »

Hey everyone...I'm looking at buying my first mustang. Having never heard of the ascMcLaren I thought I would see what all the hype is about.
So what is it that makes them great? Im about to buy a 89 Mustang.
Anything I should be looking for? Are parts hard to find? Is there a down side to the McLaren's? And any way to book them out? Thanks for any help!

iT IS UNIQUE, A 2-SEATER- AND VERY RARE. IT STOPS PEOPLE IN THEIR TRACKS, AT CAR SHOWS, AND NOT EVERYBODY CAN HAVE ONE.

If you do decide on a 89-89 mclaren. Make sure you get a MAF car ( 1988 california car, all 49 state cars in 1988 were speed density cars. ) Everything for 1989 was MAF. MAF is easier if you want or need to do any engine modifications.

Parts are extremely easy to get for older Mustangs and most Capri's. McLaren parts are available. For a price.
