It doesn't show the SSP tag and as such you cannot be sure it is a true SSP unless you somehow trace the original purchase back.

It also appears that it may lack its original engine.

Something nags at me that this was on ebay as a clone at some point....even so if it is, its a pretty complete one.

Is that the correct spare tire for an SSP?

Tom S. is a master on these, having owned one. I'm sure he'll be here with comments....

Very cool. I was always a fan too of the later models that featured the 10-hole wheels that were painted black.

Yeah, somebody else pointed out the special DSO. It may be that I saw a different one. They all look alike.

It does have a 6 digit DSO and since there were only 400 of these in '82 the likelihood of it being a clone are slim.

The tires on these were pretty small and there is a slight bulge in the trunk carpet so I'd guess it does have the full size spare.

The seller of this car pretty much specializes in these and so far seems to have offered legit cars in pretty nice shape.

I like it, the only problem is that the CHP has become a little reluctant to officially allow cars to stickered up in their graphics these days so finding a set will be tough.
