did all 88 models come with 85 speedo's? Mine is a late 88 production model. Maybe it slipped in. It does not say Ford Motor Sports on it. Dealer option?

If it says "Certified" on it, I think that was from a Police model mustang.

I don't know 87+ cars that well but the 85\86 cars that came with the 140mph speedo didn't get the "Certified" version.

Good news is you have a very rare speedo.

Bad news is your mileage is probably unknown because it was swapped out.

I could totally be wrong. Like I said my 87+ knowledge is limited.
