Lug Nuts

Post by negusm »

Anybody got a picture of a correct 85-86 asc Coupe lug nut? Probably the same as the verts.

Sandy has always said that they should be flat topped. But I don't know the exact style or length.

I would like to hunt down some or at least a source of where they could be found.

They are not "flat" as in the surface of a table top, but very very close. They have a very slight (emphasis on SLIGHT) roundedness to the "flat surface". You'd have to rub them with your finger tip's pad to note the slight roundedness.
Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Sandy, did you take your car to the dealer yet? I don't suppose you could have them remove one for you to take a picture of it? And while you're there maybe take some pics of the underside of your car?...around the fog lights? Hint hint
